Upcoming Changes to Phase 1


Thank you to those who have tried the game and given feedback!

Based on this feedback, here are some upcoming Phase 1 changes at the top of the to-do list:

  • Job Priority Changes: Currently, "transport" is considered completely separate from corresponding construct/infuse jobs, where citizens will take from the nearest source and deposit at the nearest depository. This doesn't give much control over transport priority, so I'll be reworking it so that transportation is prioritized based on the corresponding job, i.e. transporting wood to a construction site will be at the same priority as the actual construction. This will require some significant backend changes, but will hopefully be a big improvement :)
  • Settings: Of course, because there is no settings menu right now. I'll be adding graphics, audio, and keybinding settings. This will coincide with optimization. My goal will be to get the game running smoothly on my laptop at low settings. I'm new to optimizing such a complex game, but it's important to me that, on release, the game will be able to run well with a large kingdom on midrange PCs.

when changing job priorities i think when clicking on the fourth job it opens the development console and to get rid of it i save then load it until i have to switch priorities again
