This game was really intriguing, I'm very impressed mainly because it was made in a week! The constant back and forth was at first annoying, however as the music progressed and then stopped at one point was very creepy and it definitely gave me shivers!
man I was really hoping that going to the room sleeping and all that during that end bug where you cant see anything on the screen was leading to a secret ending but alas, because I did it and IT TOOK FOREVER to find the alarm and the bed with your vision completely imparied except for red and white light haha..... I had to use the difference between the sounds of the carpets and the bathroom tiles lol great game still tough
Linux player here, to play the game you just need to run “./Motel.x86_64” on the terminal or double click “Motel.x86_64” on the file explorer.
It ran very smoothly (at least on my machine) so it probably has the exact same performance has on Windows.
Also great game btw. The part that everything gets stops and you can only hear your steps made me consider the idea of pressing alt-f4 and deleting the game lol.

You find yourself in a motel, waiting for the morning to arrive, so you can move on. The motel owner has other plans though, as he wants you to come back 1 hour later. After repeating this several times, you begin to suspect something else, way more bad is going on. And guess what?

I didn’t run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags. Kudos to all involved and thanks for making this awesome game.

I was unable to run on Arch linux. I just ran:
./Motel.x86_64
unfortunately there is no error output, just exit code 1

This game was simple but I really enjoyed the concept and the unsettling atmosphere! First game I played in this weeks 3 Scary Games!
Mundane but for the merits of a jump scare. Nice design overall but I did experience a bug when the game ended/looped.

Well the final jumpscare didn't scare me but the ambience was kinda intense. Your game is the last one.
